If he advances to the third round, Cerúndolo could face Novak Djokovic. Mariano Navone, on the other hand, will play against eleventh seed Ben Shelton later, no earlier than 11:00 PM. Navone will face an opponent with a powerful serve and great performance on fast courts, which presents a challenge for the Argentine.
Additionally, on this Saturday of matches in Indian Wells, two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz, American Taylor Fritz, and Serbian Novak Djokovic will participate, facing Quentin Halys, Matteo Gigante, and Botic van de Zandschulp, respectively.
